The former Pussycat Dolls singer hopes her advice can help the contestants on the show, but she also wants to have a good time.
She said: "I love having fun and I thin it's important to have a sense of humour about life. I do work so hard, but I want to bring energy and fun to the panel.
"I want to bring constructive criticism and expertise and also some kind of light-heartedness."
The brunette beauty thinks she is a good mentor to her contestants because she makes them work hard.
She said: "I'm actually the judge that cracks the whip when it comes to work - I go through everything with a fine-tooth comb. I'm very well-invested as a mentor
"I take my job seriously and when I say I'll give 100 per cent, I'm going to do it."
Nicole was previously a judge on the US version of the show and she thinks the two roles are very different.
She said: "I'm really liking it actually. I didn't know what to expect - it's totally different from the US."
