Lauren Goodger: 'TOWIE isn't the same without me'
Lauren Goodger doesn't think 'TOWIE' has been the same since she departed and believes it has "changed"
Lauren Goodger thinks 'The Only Way is Essex' isn't the same since she left.
The 26-year-old star is glad she quit the ITV2 soap this summer as she feels it has become unrecognisable in recent months and the season seven storylines and cast are too boring.
Lauren said: "I'd thought about leaving for a while because it wasn't as fun as it used to be. It was definitely the right move.
"Loads of people have tweeted saying they miss me and that it's struggling since I'm not in it, which is really nice, but it's still a popular show.
"'TOWIE's really powerful thing, and I wouldn't be where I am today or have these opportunities without it, but the show has changed a lot.
"It's different but it's only the start of series seven. Maybe more stuff will go on later on. It's hard since the original cast have left."
The brunette has fallen out with several of her former co-stars, including Sam Faiers, but is adamant that the other original cast members left, James Argent and Lydia Bright, are missing her presence on the show.
When asked about what she thought of Sam dismissing her importance to the show, Lauren told new! magazine: "That's her opinion. I think a lot of people like Lydia have said, 'There's a massive gap now Laurens' gone as she was quite a big part of the show', because Lydia's not going to turn around and say otherwise."
