EastEnders cast concerned about thief
The 'EastEnders' set has been visited by a thief who targeted Shane Ritchie's dressing room
A thief is loose on the 'EastEnders' set.
Shane Ritchie has been left "distraught" after someone stole his iPad and £200 in cash straight out of his dressing room on the set of the BBC One soap.
An insider commented: "He hasn't forced any doors so it does seem like he has a pass. He just strolled into Shane Ritchie's dressing room and stole his iPad and cash. Cars are being searched on the way out and everybody is getting interviewed about it.
"The e-fit is everywhere. He is balding and white and looks a bit like Phil Mitchell."
Shane - who plays Queen Vic barman Alfie Moon - has pasted the police e-fit on his dressing room door while the authorities investigate five different thefts from the cast and crew's belongings in Elstree Studios in Herts.
The thief is believed to have got his hands on a security pass and is thought to have been spotted looking around the 'Holby City' set.
Shane recently revealed that his character Alfie might not be able to forgive his wife Kat's infidelity.
He said: "Alfie has always thought he can make it right ... but it's different this time, so we'll have to wait and see."
