Simon Cowell enlists X Factor healer
Simon Cowell has appointed a healer to try to rid the 'X Factor' of negative energy, such as the feud between Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh, and give the talent show's wannabes a boost.
Simon Cowell has appointed a healer to try to end the bitter 'X Factor' feud between Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh.
The music mogul - who once hired a house healer to cleanse his own home - has enlisted the help of holistic therapist Hazel Taylor to work behind the scenes at the ITV1 show's Wembley studios in London to rid the programme of all its negative energy and give hopefuls a boost.
Simon's drastic action comes after Gary and Louis clashed last weekend when the Take That star stormed off the show after the Irish judge decided against saving his act Carolynne Poole, putting her and Rylan Clark into deadlock, and the public saved Rylan.
An insider told the Daily Star newspaper: "We need all the help we can get.
"You can cut the atmosphere with a knife so the healer was brought in to try and see off the bad energy and bring the fun back.
"Hopefully, all of the last week's negativity will be over and we can have a laugh again."
But Gary and Louis' feud looks ongoing, and the pair were spotted at rehearsals last night (12.10.12) desperately trying to avoid each other despite sitting side by side.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "As far as Gary is concerned, Louis and his relationship is well and truly over. It may make TV gold on Saturday night but this feud is real.
"Unless Louis dramatically rethinks his approach, Gary won't have the time of day for him in this life or the next."
What's more, a number of 'X Factor' contestants have come down with illnesses before tonight's (13.10.12) show. Ella Henderson, 16, has got an ear infection, MK1 singer Simeon, 24, has a chest infection and Union J's Jaymi Hensley, 22, has picked up a throat virus.
'The X Factor' continues tonight on ITV1 at 8.20pm.
