Brooke Vincent to star in rival MIC show
'Coronation Street' actress Brooke Vincent has reportedly been cast in a Mancunian version of 'Made in Chelsea'
Brooke Vincent is being lined-up to star in a Northern version of 'Made in Chelsea'.
The 'Coronation Street' star has been approached to appear in star-studded new reality show 'Monkey Kingdom' - which will be produced by the same team as E4's 'MIC'- about the glamorous lives of Manchester's wealthy and well-connected socialites.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "The programme will be classy, like a Mancunian version of 'Sex and The City'.
"They want to show Manchester at its best, with only the most glamorous bars, restaurants and nightclubs featured. Lots of auditions have already taken place but they aren't satisfied yet and spots are still up for grabs.
"They only want gorgeous, well-connected people with great stories to tell. Anyone boring won't make the cut."
'Waterloo Road' and 2011 'Strictly Come Dancing' star Chelsee Healey and fashion designer Nadine Merabi have also joined the cast, with plenty more famous faces set to appear during the series.
The new E4 show hopes to revamp the format of shows like 'The Only Way Is Essex' with well-known WAGs and soap stars like Brooke, 20, making cameos.
