Denise Van Outen can't wait to do a "sexy" Latin dance on 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The 38-year-old star - who is partnered with James Jordan on the BBC One show - is keen to take on raunchier routines because she feels "more suited" to them, despite wowing the judges with a waltz to the Billy Preston and Syreeta hit 'With You I'm Born Again' on Friday night's opening show (05.10.12).
The blonde beauty - who is married to musical theatre star Lee Mead - told The Sun newspaper: "I am really looking forward to the sexy Latin dances because I feel like I'm more suited to them. Personality wise, it's more of a match.
"There's more to get your teeth into and you can be a bit sexy. I like more fast-paced styles because I've got a lot of energy and I want to use it.
"I always thought the waltz was a nice dance for a couple to share an intimate moment but you don't even look at each other throughout.
"Where's the romance in that, I ask you? I showed Lee my waltz on Skype and realised afterwards he'd gone off to make a cup of tea -- so much for the dance being sexy."
Meanwhile, fellow 'Strictly' star Victoria Pendleton has called for her partner Brendan Cole to be "tougher" on her, as she doesn't think the professional dancer has lived up to his reputation of "being intense and very hard on his celebrity partners".
The brunette Olympian - who is bottom of the leaderboard with 16 points after making a series of errors in her debut dance on the opening night - told Radio Times magazine: "I just don't see it. I come from a professional sports background where people don't ask you to do anything nicely.
"I'm used to coaches shouting at me until I do something better, so I wouldn't actually mind Brendan being tougher on me. He's nothing in comparison to some coaches I've had."
