Carolynne Poole leaves X Factor

Carolynne Poole has been booted out of 'X Factor'.
The country singer - who sang Nicki Minaj's 'Starships' on Saturday night (06.10.12) - lost out in a controversial sing-off against Rylan Clark last night (07.10.12), where judge Louis Walsh took it to the public vote.
In disgust, Carolynne's mentor Gary Barlow stormed out of the set, only to return when spin-off show 'Xtra Factor' began.
Speaking backstage, Carolynne said: "I know the UK don't really get country music like America does so I took a risk doing a country song, but it's what I wanted to do in my heart.
"I woke up this morning and said to Melanie [Masson], 'I think it's gonna be me', but she told me not to be silly.
"I'm glad Rylan's got a shot, he's been given a bit of a tough time. It's not just about the singing, it's about the X Factor, and whether you're a singer or not, against Rylan you're kind of gonna get the boot."
Gary added he felt "gutted" for Carolynne because she should not have lost out to a "joke act".
He said: "It was a joke, an absolute joke.
"I'm so gutted for Carolynne that was the most unbelievable performance. Two years running we've lost out to joke acts. I don't get that."
