Joe Swash thinks Paul Gascognie would make a "great" I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' contestant.
The former 'EastEnders' actor - who was crowned King of the Jungle in 2008 - is delighted that the eccentric footballer has been linked to the new series and thinks he'd get viewers tuning in.
Joe - who will fly to Australia in a few weeks ready to host spin-off series 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! Now!' on ITV2 - said: "I'd like to see how Gazza handled the jungle, he'd definitely make great TV."
The 30-year-old actor began his career when he was just seven years old and admits it is difficult to choose a high point, though he will always have a soft spot for the advert which got him his big break.
He said: "'EastEnders' and 'I'm A Celeb...' have definitely been career highlights for me but I got my first real taste of telly from the Andrex advert that I starred in when I was just seven years old.
"It was my first showbiz moment and as a young boy getting to play with the Andrex Puppy was definitely a unique experience! It's amazing to think that he's still an icon after 40 years, in showbiz that's pretty good going!"
