'X Factor' hopeful Jahmene Douglas has been told to wiggle his toes if he gets nervous while performing on the live shows.
The wannabe pop star suffers from extreme nerves whenever he sings so TV presenter Aled Jones has given him some advice on how to keep them under control when the ITV1 show goes live on Saturday (06.10.12).
Speaking on 'Daybreak', Aled - who was a child singer - said: "I gave you a top tip in make-up as well, I told him to wiggle his toes in his shoes when he's singing because it takes your mind off being nervous.
"You stand there, and you wiggle your toes and you don't think about being nervous. If your performance goes well on Saturday then I'll take the credit for it. If it's rubbish, it's not my fault."
However, Jahmene's mentor Nicole Scherzinger isn't so keen, telling Aled: "Everyone's going to be looking at his toes now."
Despite his nerves, Jahmene was chosen by Nicole to go through to the lives shows along with Rylan Clark and James Arthur.
