The 'How Clean Is Your House' host - who is taking part in the live social experiment on Channel 4 - has gotten very ill so is currently being looked after by co-star Dr Christian Jessen.
A source said: "Kim and a crew member have both been struck down. There are fears for other members of the 'Hotel GB' team and extra measures are being put in place to contain the outbreak including using antibacterial wipes on door handles and telephones."
'Hotel GB' sees chef Gordon Ramsay and the queen of shops Mary Portas take over a hotel and staff it with unemployed people to raise money for The Prince's Trust and Springboard charities.
Their workers are divided into teams, with Gordon's team running the restaurant while Mary's in charge of hospitality.
Gordon and Mary are being helped out by their showbiz friends on the show, with Gok Wan running the bar and events, Phil Spencer as the maitre d' and Dr Christian in the gym for Team Gordon, while Mary has Kim as head of housekeeping, Kirstie Allsopp as the concierge and Katie Piper running the spa.
In addition to the teams, 'Dragons' Den' star Hilary Devey is running the hotel shop.
'Hotel GB' is on Channel 4 every night this week at 9pm.
