The 'Dragons' Den' star was rushed to hospital yesterday morning (01.10.12) after suffering from a suspected heart attack but he is expecting to be released later today.
He tweeted: "Just waiting for Docters rounds but am sure I will get all clear to go home soon. (sic)"
The Scottish entrepreneur, 63, was rushed to Darlington Memorial Hospital yesterday with chest pains, but reassured fans he is making a speedy recovery.
He tweeted from his hospital bed: "Hi. In hospital attached to a few wires feeling tired but am sure I will be discharged tomorrow fit & well (fit as a pensioner can be anyway)".
The millionaire added: "Today was my first trip inside an Ambulance & with siren wailing. Hope it is the last. LoL. (sic)"

Duncan - who owns successful health club, hotel and spa business The Bannatyne Group - is the show's longest-running member, having appeared in all nine series of the BBC Two show since it began in 2005.
