BINTM's Letitia Herod 'ecstatic' at win
'Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model' winner Letitia Herod is "ecstatic" to have won the eighth series of the show
'Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model' beauty Letitia Herod is "on top of the world" following her win.
The 19-year-old star - who wins a space at agency Models 1, a campaign for Revlon and a cover shoot at Company magazine - is delighted to have won the show because she doesn't have any "pressure" to find work now.
She told BANG Showbiz: "Yeah - I'm ecstatic. I'm on top of the world at the moment. It's been so nice, I've been able to actually come away from it winning, it's such a relief. I don't have the pressure of thinking oh now I have to go find an agency, I have an agency, a campaign, all there. It's so nice!"
Letitia, who impressed judge Elle Macpherson early on in the show, already has in mind where she would like her career to go and would love to work for Victoria's Secret because they celebrate femininity.
She said: "I really would love to Vogue and Victoria's Secret - they would be incredible to be involved with. The thing is, I'm already quite aware I would be in bikinis because of my boobs! I do think that's what I'm going to end up having to go into - so Victoria's Secret would be a dream job.
"They celebrate a woman's figure, they don't mind breasts and curves. That would be perfect for me."
Commenting on Letitia's win, Elle said she expected her to do well because she "broke the mould".
She said: "I think she is going to forge her own path in this industry and that's what I was looking for, somebody who kinda broke the mould. She's sexy, she's innocent, she's beautiful. I'm really excited to see what comes next for her. And if she can use this as a springboard into becoming a superstar and I'm sure she will."
