Rylan Clarke hopes wardrobe gives him the edge
The 25 'X Factor' contestants who have made it through to Judges' Houses have been revealed, with Rylan Clarke hoping his wacky wardrobe will boost his chances as he doesn't think he is the best singer in the Boys category.
Rylan Clark has vowed his 'X Factor' outfits will be "off the mark".
The 23-year-old hopeful - who has made it through to the Judges' Houses stage of the contest, where he will compete against James Arthur, Adam Burridge, Jake Quickenden, Nathan Fagan-Gayle and Jahmene Douglas- to be one of Nicole Scherzinger's finalists in the Boys category - wishes he could have some electronic help to bolster his vocals but is relying on his outlandish wardrobe to outdo his competition.
He said: "At the same time it's a singing contest, it's also a Saturday night entertainment show.
"It would be lovely if they let me use Auto-Tune but I doubt they will.
"My outfits will be so off the mark there will be Ofcom complaints. I think the style team will literally be salivating over me."
Also through to Judges' Houses are Jade Ellis, Amy Mottram, Lucy Spraggan, Leanne Robinson, Ella Henderson and Jade Collins, who will be mentored by Tulisa Contostavlos.
Louis Walsh has seven groups to choose from.
Times Red and Union J were drafted in to replace Rough Copy after they were dropped following visa problems, and they will do battle against Misotu, Duke, MK1, GMD3 and Poisonous Twins.
Gary Barlow must whittle down the Over 28s to find his finalists from Brad Shackleton, Melanie Masson, Christopher Maloney, Carolynne Poole, Kye Sones and Nicola-Marie Bloor.
