Kimberley Walsh: 'Strictly is difficult without Girls Aloud'
Kimberley Walsh believes 'Strictly Come Dancing' will be a "challenge" as she is not used to appearing on stage without her Girls Aloud bandmates
Kimberley Walsh claims 'Strictly' will be difficult without her Girls Aloud bandmates
The 30-year-old singer has welcomed the "challenge" of starring on 'Strictly Come Dancing' but admits she isn't as confident without Sarah Harding, Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle and Nicola Roberts acting as her "comfort blanket".
She said: "I think the band is always a comfort blanket. When you've got the other four, you're like, 'Yeah I know what I'm doing.' But now they're not here, I don't know what I'm doing. It will be a challenge."
But Kimberley is looking forward to Cheryl and Nicola support her by appearing in the 'Strictly' audience to cheer her on throughout the show.
She added: "They said they're going to come down to watch me, so that'll be good. They'll give me a bit of support."
The brunette beauty asked all of her Girls Aloud bandmates' advice about whether she should sign up for 'Strictly' and Cheryl and Nicola both encouraged her to appear on the show.
She told OK! magazine: "I spoke to all the girls about it actually, and Cheryl and Nicola were like, 'You should definitely do that, you'll be in your element.' "
Kimberley will dance in the first live show tonight (22.09.12).
