Corrie's Tina and Tommy 'pulled apart' by surrogacy
Michelle Keegan believes her on-screen relationship with Tommy Duckworth (Chris Fountain) could be ruined by her decision to be a surrogate.
Tina McIntyre and Tommy Duckworth could be "pulled apart" by her decision to be a surrogate mother.
Michelle Keegan's alter-ego Tina has been forced into it under threat by Izzy's father Owen (Ian Puleston-Davies), and she admits a strain will be put on her relationship with on-screen boyfriend Tommy (Chris Fountain).
She said: "I think the surrogacy could pull them apart, but I would like to see them stay together. They are such a good match."
Michelle also reveals the relationship is a fan favourite, with many keen to hear news about the couple when she is out and about.
She added to WhatsOnTV.com: "Every time I go out, people say to me, 'Where's Tommy?' It's the same for Chris [Fountain]. They've really taken to them as a couple. I think they work well together too. What's nice is the fact that they are best mates as well as boyfriend and girlfriend.
"The surrogacy storyline is a big one and I am really excited about it. It's something I can really get my teeth into."
