Michael Vaughan delays Strictly training
Michael Vaughan has delayed starting 'Strictly Come Dancing' by two days because of his work commitments
Michael Vaughan has already delayed training for 'Strictly Come Dancing' due to other work commitments.
The retired cricket player will be starting two days later than the rest of his fellow contestants as he is reluctant to opt out of previous engagements.
An insider said: "Michael didn't want to cancel the events he had planned, so he will be lagging behind most of his rivals as far as training is concerned."
Not only does this delay effect his ranking but it has also taken a toll on his dance partner Natalie Lowe, who is aiming to impress the TV bosses after it was revealed that they were "road testing" two new professional dancers.
The source added to The Sun newspaper: "He (Michael) doesn't seem too worried about the delay, but Natalie is disappointed they couldn't start sooner. She is very competitive to win."
"She also feels there is more pressure because the bosses are trying out two American pro dancers - Lacey Schwimmer and Mark Ballas."
Dancer Lacey has already been asked to choreograph a routine for the celebrities and their partners, with 'Dancing With The Stars' pro Mark set to perform with Katherine Jenkins later on in the series.
'Strictly' had it's debut show last weekend (15.09.12) and is returning to our screens on October 5.
