Denise Van Outen wants pregnancy after Strictly
Denise Van Outen wants to get pregnant after she has finished with 'Strictly Come Dancing'
Denise Van Outen plans to get pregnant when 'Strictly Come Dancing' is over.
The 38-year-old actress - who has two-year-old daughter Betsy with theatre star Lee Mead - admits she is keen to expand her family, but only once her commitments to the BBC show are over.
She said: "We'll wait and see what happens after 'Strictly'. I will hopefully be in great shape and in a good physical position to be pregnant."
However, Denise - who is teamed with James Jordan - admits she has struggled with rehearsals for the programme and aches constantly.
She added: "It's been a shock to the system. I ache all over! But I like that feeling after a workout, when you have a spring in your step.
"I've not done much exercise since I went on a charity cycle across India with Lydia Bright from 'TOWIE' in March. It's been tough, but hopefully it will get easier."
Denise's other concern is that of the fan-bases of competitors including Louis Smith and Kimberley Walsh, and she knows she will have to work hard to impress viewers.
She told Closer magazine: "Kimberley has a big fan-base, as do Westlife's Nicky Byrne and Team GB stars Victoria Pendleton and Louis Smith, so it's going to be tough. But I want to work hard, dance as well as I can and enjoy it."
