Sharon Osbourne desperate for X Factor return
Sharon Osbourne is desperate to return to 'The X Factor' - because it would "p**s off" her good friend Simon Cowell
Sharon Osbourne would "love" to return to 'The X Factor'.
The showbiz matriarch - who quit the show in 2008 following a string of rows with fellow judge Dannii Minogue - was thrilled to help pal Louis Walsh pick his finalists at the Judges' Houses stage of this year's competition and now wants to come back in a bigger position next year.
She said: "I would love to come back to 'X Factor'. I want to come back to England and I want to come back to 'X Factor'. I'm not happy to be back, I am ecstatic to be back."
Sharon - who recently quit 'America's Got Talent' in a dispute with broadcaster NBC over her son Jack Osbourne, who was recently diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis - joked it would "p**s off" close friend Simon Cowell if she made a comeback.
She added: "Simon and I are still in touch. He reached out to me very recently regarding Jack and he was so lovely and so supportive.
"When the s**t hits the fan, Simon is always there for you.
"We bicker like brother and sister but ultimately we have got each other's backs.
"I would love to work with Simon again, just to piss him off."
And the 59-year-old star will be hoping her Judges' Houses appearance will impress as she is convinced she and Louis will choose the winning act.
She told the Daily Star on Sunday newspaper: "It's like riding a bike, you never forget. The magic that comes from the two of us rubbing together, it's electric.
"We could cause lightning because we are like lightning in a bottle.
"I am looking for an act that can take Louis to the winning place of 'The X Factor' this year.
"Louis has to win this year and we are going to find him the act that will take him all the way."
