'Made In Chelsea' star Spencer Matthews is worried his relationship with 'The Bachelor' winner could have fizzled out and hopes to reconnect with the lucky lady as soon as possible
Spencer Matthews wants to "rekindle" his romance with 'The Bachelor' winner.
The 24-year-old star - who will chose between Khloe Evans and Tabby Richards in the final of the Channel 5 reality show tonight (31.08.12) - is worried the feelings might have fizzled out after not being allowed to see each other for over seven weeks, but is hopeful they can reconnect when they meet up shortly.
Speaking at the National Reality TV Awards at London's Porchester Hall last night, Spencer told BANG Showbiz: "Although 'The Bachelor' is completely real, it's quite difficult to develop real feelings for someone. Although there were obvious feelings there, I'm looking forward to seeing if anything can develop when I get to see her very shortly."
"I'm looking to rekindle whatever I can. I still obviously have feeling for the girl that won, I'm looking forward to catching up and seeing what she's been up to. Fingers crossed!"
The handsome 'Made In Chelsea' star was crowned Reality Personality of the Year at the star-studded event, beating off stiff competition from the likes of Mark Wright, Amy Childs and Paddy Doherty.
But despite his big win, which he branded "extremely kind", Spencer feels anxious the love connection he found could turn out to be more of a "holiday romance" than a lasting relationship.
He mused: "I'm just hoping the moments we shared weren't just a holiday romance. Sometimes you meet girls on holiday and things seem out of proportion good, and then you come home and everything's a bit different.
"I'm not being pessimist at all I'm just a bit of a realist. I want it to work, we'll see where it goes."
The Chelsea crew won big last night, taking home Best Reality Non-Competition Show.
Spencer's co-star Millie Mackintosh was also crowned Female Personality of the Year.
