Rita Ora felt she could relate to the contestants on 'X Factor'.
The 'How We Do (Party)' singer was a guest judge on the ITV1 talent show and while she enjoyed doing it, she says knew what the hopefuls were going through as she'd been in that position herself.
She said: "It was a great experience but I'm so new I didn't want anyone to think I was judging them. My advice was that they had three minutes to make a good impression to the public. That was like me when I went for my record deal - I had three minutes to get signed.
"I told them how important that moment is: focus and don't get thrown off. Some people were like, 'Oh, I'm sorry, I'm nervous', but you only get one shot at being put through. I could relate to them. Then I put a guy through who sang the 'One Pound Fish' song."
Rita, 21, also revealed how Beyonce Knowles has given her advice in the past, which has made her a lot more confident on stage.
She told the Metro newspaper: "Beyonce gave me performing advice. She said if you forget the words put the mic out to the crowd so they sing along with you. I've used it for when I'm out of breath. I run around on stage so much, when I get a bit out of breath, I'll put the mic out and say, 'Sing along.' "
