Lucy Spraggan forced to take down song
Lucy Spraggan has been forced to take down her self-penned song 'Last Night (Beer Fear)' from iTunes by 'X Factor' bosses.
'X Factor' contestant Lucy Spraggan has been forced to take her song 'Last Night (Beer Fear)' off iTunes.
The 20-year-old contestant - who wowed judges on the ITV show with her self-penned ditty about excess drinking - was ordered by bosses at the ITV show to remove her song so as to not cause one contestant to have too much exposure.
She told fans: "Oh dear - not my call to make. Get it while you can."
However, some have suggested it may be to ensure she does not stop Little Mix - who won last year's show - from getting to the top of the charts with their new single 'Wings'.
According to The Sun newspaper, office worker Tina Anderson said: "It is really unfair to her fans. Lucy is definitely better than Little Mix."
Lucy herself seemed happy to do so, as it meant she may do better in the competition.
She said: "I've obliged because you've got to do what you've got to do to get somewhere in life."
This year has seen an influx of guitar-playing wannabes on the show, including formerly homeless James Arthur and Curtis Golden.
