Cheryl Cole is to make an appearance on 'The Jonathan Ross Show' on September 8 to promote her new single.

Cheryl Cole will appear on 'The Jonathan Ross Show' next month.

The former 'X Factor' judge will go on the ITV chat show to launch the second single - 'Under the Sun' - from her third album, and it is hoped she will also talk about her burgeoning relationship with dancer Tre Holloway in the episode to be aired on September 8.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Everyone is talking about Cheryl's latest relationship, so to have her confirmed for next Saturday night is fantastic."

Cheryl will also perform her new single and will appear alongside Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber.

On this week's show, Jonathan - who made a jump from the BBC to ITV last year - will have Olympic double gold medallist Mo Farah, model and actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and choir star Gareth Malone.

In recent years Cheryl has shunned the limelight and rarely done big interviews, although she was reduced to tears during a chat with Piers Morgan while talking about her battle with malaria.
