Emily Atack wants Inbetweeners TV return
Emily Atack would jump at the chance to appear in another 'Inbetweeners' TV show, following on from the success of the film
Emily Atack would love for 'The Inbetweeners' to be back on TV.
The actress - who played the role of Charlotte in the E4 comedy series about a bunch of geeky school boys - would love to reunite with stars Simon Bird, Joe Thomas, James Buckley and Blake Harrison following on from the success of the film, but doesn't know if it will ever happen.
Asked if there would ever be more episodes, she said: "I honestly have no idea. But the film did so well and I'd never turn down the chance to work with the boys again."
Emily, who has starred on 'Dancing On Ice' and 'Rock and Chips' since appearing on the show, admits her favourite character was the hapless Will (Simon Bird).
She said: "It has to be Will. He's the best."
Despite Emily's hope of another TV series, any such plans will not be for some time as it was recently announced a sequel to the first movie is currently in development.
The series co-creator Damon Beesley said: "I don't want to give too much away at this stage but yes, we have been developing an idea for a sequel.
"We miss working with Simon, Joe, James and even Blake too much not to give it a go."
