Letitia Dean glad to reunite with McFadden
Letitia Dean is delighted to get to work with Steve McFadden again on 'EastEnders' because they have such "great history"
Letitia Dean is glad to be working with her 'EastEnders' co-star Steve McFadden again.
The actress - who has returned to play feisty Sharon in the BBC1 soap - says she's pleased to be back on the show again and is especially enjoying working with Steve who plays her former love interest Phil Mitchell.
She said: "I love the fact Sharon and Phil have such a great history. Whatever age the viewer is, they pick up on it. Even if nothing happens, it's nice to have that nostalgia."
The actress left the show in 2006 after a string of dramatic storylines - including the resurrection of her father Den - and she returned earlier this month to support Phil after his son Ben finally handed himself into police.
She admits that despite their turbulent history - which saw them have an affair while she was married to his brother Grant - they will always be attracted to each other.
She said: "There's always going to be a Phil in Sharon's life. That frisson has always been there ... he's so capable and he's dangerous too.
"When you think about it, all her men have been pretty dangerous."
