Rick Edwards nervous about Paralympic hosting
Former T4 presenter Rick Edwards admits he is "pretty nervous" about hosting the Paralympic Games coverage for Channel 4.
Rick Edwards is "pretty nervous" to be hosting Channel 4's Paralympic Games coverage.
The former T4 presenter will be fronting the networks coverage of the games - which begin later this month - and while he is excited to get started, he is also scared about how it will come off.
He said: "I'm very, very excited. But I'm also pretty nervous. There is no doubt in my mind that the Paralympics will be incredible, and I just hope that our coverage will do it justice. I think it will."
However, Rick is not scared about being compared to Clare Balding - who won universal praise during her presenting of the Olympic Games coverage on the BBC - because he knows he could never be as good.
He told Heat magazine: "We're lucky enough to have the actual Clare Balding as one of our main anchors. And she is the original and best.
"Clare is the best sports broadcaster in this country. So I will inevitably not be as good as her!"
