Kelly Brook's diva demands
Kelly Brook deliberately acted like a "diva" when she hosted 'Celebrity Love Island' because she didn't want to be there and knew she could get away with it
Kelly Brook was deliberately a "diva" on 'Celebrity Love Island' because she didn't want the job.
The brunette beauty admits she was pleased that her contract on the now-defunct reality TV show was never renewed as she had no interest in the programme but made outlandish demands as she knew producers were desperate to keep her happy.
She said: "I was such a diva on that job because I didn't want to be there.
"It didn't interest me but they offered ridiculous amounts of money to do it. So I made ludicrous demands because I could. Like what? A consultant producer credit for a start."
In 2009, Kelly was appointed a judge on 'Britain's Got Talent' but left after just one show amid rumours that hosts Ant and Dec were unhappy about her appointment and the model-turned-actress think show chief Simon Cowell should have consulted the rest of the programme's staff before hiring her.
She told The Times newspaper: "I know that Simon wanted to liven things up a little bit, but maybe he should have consulted everyone else before he hired me. Or maybe I wasn't what he expected me to be."
