Chris Moyles' TV dreams
Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles has signed with Ant and Dec's managers in the hopes of becoming a prime-time ITV presenter.
Chris Moyles plans to become a top TV presenter.
The Radio 1 DJ has dropped his agent of ten years, Vivienne Clore, in favour of Ant and Dec's managers in the hopes of making the move from 'Breakfast Show' host to ITV television personality.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Chris is at that stage where he needs to move up the showbiz ladder and he thinks Ant and Dec's management firm, James Grant, can make it happen.
"It's all amicable with Vivienne as she knew the writing was on the wall.
"For someone with a gigantic ego like Chris it's vital that he has a mainstream outlet."
Chris is allegedly worried about his career after being replaced on his Radio 1 show by a younger presenter, Nick Grimshaw, and his Channel 4 TV show 'Chris Moyles' Quiz Show' has also been axed, with "no imminent plans" for it to return.
The radio host reportedly plans to ditch his gig co-presenting Sky Living's dating show 'Love Machine' after the next series with the intention of moving on to a more mainstream project.
The outspoken star thinks his new agency James Grant - which also represents Davina McCall, Holly Willoughby, Phillip Schofield and Vernon Kay - will take his career to the next level and help him become a prime time ITV presenter.
