Monica Geller and Chandler Bing's wedding is more likely to make British viewers cry than any other fictional union, new research by Kleenex has found.
The tear-inducing two-part finale of the hit sitcom's seventh season,'The One with Monica and Chandler's Wedding', sees the cute couple - played by Courteney Cox and Matthew Perry - well up as they recite their self-penned vows to each other.
Monica gushes: "Chandler, for so long I wondered if I would ever find my prince, my soul mate...
"And now here we are with our future before us and I only want to spend it with you, my prince, my soulmate, my friend."
Chandler solemnly states: "Monica, I though this was going to be the most difficult thing I ever had to do.
"But when I saw you walking down that aisle, I realized how simple it was. I love you."
65 percent of Britons have admitted to sobbing at weddings, with TV ceremonies causing just as much emotion as real-life ones.
Scott and Charlene's nuptials in 'Neighbours' came a close second, with Alice and Hugo's eccentric affair on 'The Vicar of Dibley' polling third.
Special soap moments from 'Coronation Street' and 'EastEnders' round out the top seven.
