Lauren Goodger is feeling emotional about leaving 'The Only Way is Essex' to star on 'Dancing On Ice'
Lauren Goodger will miss her 'The Only Way is Essex' co-stars.
The 25-year-old star has likened her departure from the popular ITV2 show to the "end of an era" and expressed her sadness at leaving her friends behind in a series of emotional tweets after the series six wrap party last night (22.08.12).
Lauren posted: "U no what all the producers have said a lot tonight touch my heart we going work together in future lot love n respect x x (sic)"
"Was so lovely last night all my cast were so lovely goin miss u all and producers!end of an era! Been a journey... (sic)"
Lauren quit 'TOWIE' in order to pursue other reality TV projects and will next take part in skating competition 'Dancing On Ice'.
However, the bubbly brunette hinted she might rejoin her Essex pals on the soap - which was renewed for four more seasons in November 2011 - at a later date and thanked her fans as well as her critics for following her career.
Lauren tweeted: "wan2 say HUGE thank u 2every1 on here who supported me over last 6series & been on this journey with me.means SO much.a break is not 4ever x (sic)"
"Ooh and I mustn't forget all my loyal haters. Thank you all for making me stronger. Don't you worry tho- as they say I'll be back!x (sic)"
James Argent, Sam Faiers and the Wright family are now the only original cast members left.
Arg mused: "End of a era, She will be missed! A huge part of my life n TOWIE, Goodbye an goodluck... (sic)"
