Corrie's Tommy Duckworth will meddle in Kirsty Soames and Tyrones Dobbs' relationship and suffer the consequences of his actions.

'Coronation Street''s Tommy Duckworth will cause havoc by meddling in Kirsty Soames and Tyrone Dobbs' relationship.

Tommy (Chris Fountain) sets his moping best friend Tyrone back up with his pregnant abusive ex-girlfriend Kirsty without realizing the nature of their dysfunctional romance, which also puts a strain on his own relationship with Tyrone Dobbs (Michelle Keegan).

Chris told soaplife magazine: "Tommy's gutted when Tina tells him Kirsty's been violent towards Tyrone. He wishes Tina had confided in him earlier but he respects she was being loyal to Tyrone.

"He genuinely thought he was doing something to help... and Tyrone does start to act okay again when he sees Kirsty."

The upcoming storyline on the ITV1 soap will see Tommy jump to the conclusion that Kirtsy has hurt Tyrone after noticing his hands are burnt, leading to a dramatic showdown on Weatherfield's cobbles.

The handsome soap star also hinted that the fallout from the argument could have far reaching effects on Tommy's close relationship with Tina.

Chris revealed: "Kirtsy gives Tyrone an ultimatum and Tommy loses his garage job because of the argument.

"Tommy's gutted that he's fallen out with Tyrone and it is a tough time for him and Tina. They've been through so much in such a short time together.

"They're not having much fun and I think this will have an effect on their relationship."
