Karen Gillan has become a "geek" since starring in 'Doctor Who'.
The 24-year-old actress is set to bow out of her role as the Doctor's companion Amy Pond after three years and she will particularly miss battling against the Time Lord's enemies.
She said: "I'm miss running away from monsters.
"It was a mutual decision to leave - I've just started rehearsals for a rom-com called 'Not Another Happy Ending'. But I am sad to go.
"'Doctor Who' has been a huge part of my life and I've become a bona fide 'Who' geek."
The actress had to undertake a number of stunts on the show and they left her with some bizarre injuries.
She explained to Britain's Glamour magazine: "I've been suspended upside down and burst all the blood vessels in my face."
Karen's role required her to kiss both Matt Smith, who plays the titular Time Lord and Arthur Darvill, who portrays her husband Rory Williams, but she won't say who she enjoyed sharing the intimate scenes with the most.
She said: "I won't say who was better."
