Dannii Minogue won't go back to X Factor
Dannii Minogue has "moved on" from 'The X Factor' and admits she rejected an offer to return to the show
Dannii Minogue has "moved on" from 'The X Factor'.
The 40-year-old singer was a judge on the programme for four years but departed in 2011, and she admits she has recently turned down an offer to the return to the show.
She said: "I was offered the chance to return but I decided it wasn't the right thing for me, as yet again it didn't fit in with the commitments I'd already made to 'Australia's Got Talent'. I've been with 'AGT' since the first episode and it's filmed in my home town.
"I am fiercely passionate about every show I commit to. I had four incredible years on 'The X Factor', but the show has moved on and so have I.
"It will always have a really special place in my heart and I'm still in contact with the contestants."
However, Dannii admits she is "actively" talking to TV producers about finding a new UK show she can work on, so long as it fits around her schedule and parenting her two-year-old son Ethan.
She told the new issue of Glamour magazine: "I am actively looking for something that I could do in the UK.
"I really want to come back and do something, but I would want it to be right. I was very happy at ITV and I still talk with them regularly and we would like to find something.
"It's all about Ethan and making it work with his schedule and routine, but we'll see what happens."
