'Coronation Street's Tracy Barlow is to be made homeless after Weatherfield pensioner Emily Bishop kicks her out of her home.
'Coronation Street's Tracy Barlow is to be made homeless.
The evil schemer - who is portrayed by Kate Ford in the ITV1 soap - has been forced to stay with her godmother Emily Bishop (Eileen Derbyshire) after her estranged husband Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) sold her rented home from underneath her.
But when the brunette beauty fails to turn up for a job which Emily has arranged for her, the pensioner - who has housed lodgers including Curly Watts (Kevin Kennedy), Perry Sugden (Bill Waddington) and current Weatherfield resident Norris Cole (Malcolm Hebden) in the past - gets fed up and chucks her out on the cobbles.
A source said: "Emily is furious. She has put a roof over Tracy's head but she's bone idle."
After being made homeless Tracy turns to her parents Deirdre (Anne Kirkbride) and Ken Barlow (Bill Roache) for help, but they have also had enough of her, despite the scheming temptress telling them she is ill.
The insider added to The Sun newspaper: "Tracy realises she has run out of friends and, on top of that, she's feeling very poorly. It's a low ebb for her."
Tracy is not the only soap star to have been made homeless recently after 'EastEnders' businessman Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) and 'Emmerdale's vicious vicar Ashley Thomas (John Middleton) were both left without a place to live.
