Dannii Minogue considering Strictly?
Dannii Minogue is considering appearing on 'Strictly Come Dancing' and BBC bosses think landing the Australian singer would be the ultimate coup
Dannii Minogue is considering appearing on 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The Australian singer is a favourite amongst BBC One bosses to star in the upcoming series of the televised ballroom dancing competition in September, but Dannii is still debating whether to take part.
A TV insider told The Mirror newspaper: "The Strictly team would love to have Dannii as a contestant. She would be a huge attraction.
"There has been a series of talks with her and her team, and the ball was very much left in her court."
Dannii's ex-partner Kris Smith, with whom she has two-year-old Ethan, seemed to confirm the rumour at a recent event when he confessed: "They are very keen to get Dannii on board. She has been mulling it all over."
TV executives hope to win 40-year-old Dannii's allegiance for the BBC since she fell out with rival ITV1 talent show mogul Simon Cowell after he revealed they had a secret liaison in 2007.
It is thought that getting Danni - who was a judge on 'The X Factor' from 2007 to 2010 - would be the "ultimate coup" after she snubbed Simon's £1million offer to return to his show this year.
