Richard E Grant has landed a leading role in a new Channel 4 drama.
The 'Withnail and I' actor is due to star alongside Peter Mullan in 'The Fear', a gritty drama based in Brighton's violent criminal underworld which will air this winter.
Richard will play plastic surgeon Seb, whose secret past sees him get involved in his new ex-crime lord boss Richie Beckett's affairs.
'Tyrannosaur' actor Peter will star as early dementia sufferer Richie, who gets caught up with the Albanian mafia when he tries to revamp Brighton's West Pier.
Filming has begun on the hour-long episodes, written by Richard Cottan.
'EastEnders' actor Paul Nicholls and Harry Lloyd from the 2011 BBC adaptation of 'Great Expectations' will also star.
Swaziland-born actor Richard most recently starred in 'The Iron Lady' opposite Oscar-winner Meryl Streep.
The 54-year-old was one of the 176 artists invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts in June because of his contributions to theatrical motion pictures.
