Denise Van Outen rules out Big Breakfast return
Denise Van Outen does not think she could go back to 'The Big Breakfast' if it were to return because it would be "weird" as she has grown up so much
Denise Van Outen couldn't host 'Big Breakfast' again.
The 38-year-old presenter - who is currently an ambassador for the Lil-Lets We Are Women campaign - admits she had a great time on the Channel 4 show from 1997 to 2001 with Johnny Vaughn but could not go back to it if it returned as she is now too "aware" of herself since becoming a mother.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I loved 'Big Breakfast' - it was such a laugh. I think it would be too weird to do it now. We were so young and Johnny and I are different people, I'm a mum and it wouldn't be the same.
"I'm too aware of myself now, when you're younger you don't think about things. It's part of growing up, I have to be responsible. Half the things I said and did then I'd never do now because I've got a daughter, it wouldn't be the same."
However, Denise admits she would gladly return to another breakfast TV show should the opportunity arise.
She added: "I'd do breakfast TV again though, I wouldn't really mind that if it's something I'm enjoying. I just used to jump out of bed to do that show, I loved it - I was never worried about the early mornings."
Denise has donated an item to the Lil-Lets We Are Women auction in support of Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust. The find out more visit www.facebook.com/wearewomenuk
