Alesha Dixon: 'Strictly was special'
Alesha Dixon admits 'Strictly Come Dancing' - which she won and later judged - will always be "special" to her
Alesha Dixon says 'Strictly Come Dancing' will "always have a special place" in her heart.
The singer quit the BBC One show earlier this year to take up a place on the 'Britain's Got Talent' judging panel and while she knew it was time to, she only has good memories of the programme.
She said: "For the three years I was on the show, I absolutely loved it. It'll always have special place in my heart. I adored 'Strictly', but it was time for me to move on and I was so excited about 'Britain's Got Talent'."
Alesha - who was joined on the 'BGT' panel by Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and David Walliams - says she loved taking part in this year's 'BGT' and wants to return again next year.
She told Look magazine: "The nation was really behind the show, you could see the chemistry on the panel and every act on that stage was worthy of being there. It felt really special. This year has been amazing for Britain because of the Olympics and the Diamond Jubilee, and 'BGT' felt rejuvenated. All of us on the panel were tired and sad it had ended, but it was a genuinely good time. Would I do it again? They've asked me to and I really want to, so yes!"
