Julien MacDonald is intimidating, according to 'Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model' evictee Emma Sharratt.
The 18-year-old blonde - who was ousted on last night's episode of the Sky1 HD show (23.07.12) - has revealed that famously outspoken Welsh fashion designer was nerve-wracking to work with because he is so opinionated.
Emma exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "He's intimidating! I actually really liked him before and I really wanted him to like me, but he didn't.
"He said, 'You don't look like a model to me'. I can't do anything about that, I can't grow a long neck or something.
"If he likes you, he likes you and if he doesn't, he doesn't. Obviously he didn't like me!"
The fashion student thinks that exuberant Julian's harsh words knocked her confidence and could be the reason she was evicted from the Top Model house after just one week.
She explained: "Since Julien's comment saying I wasn't a model, it knocked my confidence a lot and I was doubting myself constantly.
"I was more nervous to perform and obviously it shines through a bit on the pictures."
But one judge impressed more than the others in last night's episode, which saw the girls walk the runway with live animals and pose in a butterfly-inspired shoot whilst suspended on a high-wire.
'Britain's Got Talent' judge Alesha Dixon was called in to guest judge, much to Emma's delight.
The model hopeful said: "I really liked Alesha because she seemed to like my picture. I really like her laugh as well, it's really funny.
"After the show she came backstage and talked to me and said that her and Tyson (Beckford) were trying to defend me and thought I shouldn't have been the first to go. She was really nice."
