Sean Bean wants a cameo appearance on 'Coronation Street'.
The 'Game Of Thrones' star has admitted he would love a guest role on the ITV1 soap opera, and hopes that producers can find him a role suitable to fit around his busy schedule.
The 53-year-old actor said told the Daily Star newspaper: "I would love to pop up in 'Corrie' if they find me the right character - but maybe one that doesn't stay too long!"
Sean first expressed his desire to mingle amongst the Weatherfield residents in 2006 and again in 2010, claiming the ball was in court of producers.
He said at the time: "It's my favourite soap. Maybe not for a long run but I would still love to be in it.
"But they haven't contacted me or my agent about it, so it's over to them."
A spokesperson also commented: "Sean is a fantastic actor but also a busy and prolific actor. If we found a suitable character for him and he could do it, then who knows?"
Sean joins the growing list of stars like Snoop Dogg and Kim Kardashian who have recently expressed interest in starring on the show.
Snoop quipped: "They got everything - sex, murder, transsexuals. There ain't no other show that can touch it."
Sir Ian McKellen, Stephanie Beacham and Peter Kay have all made cameos on the soap.
