Corrie's Michelle wants to 'kill' drug addict son
Kym Marsh claims her 'Coronation Street' alter-ego Michelle wants to "kill" her son Ryan when she finds out he is taking Class A drugs
'Coronation Street's Michelle Connor wants to "kill" her son when she discovers her son with cocaine.
Kym Marsh - who portrays the character - admits she is "concerned" for Ryan when she finds out he has been taking Class A drugs, but decides to take a "no nonsense" approach to it.
She said: "She wants to kill him! She's so angry and ashamed, especially as he seems more concerned about the drugs than the fact he's been caught taking them.
"He drops them on the floor and scurries to pick them up. It all gets too much for Michelle. She feels like an idiot and begins to see Ryan as a stranger."
Michelle eventually goes on to call the police on her son because she is so worried he is putting his life in danger.
She added to Soaplife magazine: "She's in a state of panic and doesn't know what else to do so she calls the police to report him. Michelle takes no nonsense and wants to show people she isn't shying away from her problems. She's tackling them head on.
"Her biggest fear is that Ryan's putting himself in danger, risking everything - including his life."
