Dirk Johnston has been eliminated from 'Superstar'.

The Scottish singer - who survived the chop after finding himself in the bottom two against Afnan Iftikhar on Monday (16.07.12) - has become the second contestant to leave the show after Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber chose to send him home.

Although Dirk sang Christina Aguilera's 'Hurt' in the sing-off against Tim Prottey-Jones, it wasn't enough to save him.

The disappointed singer told presenter Amanda Holden: "It was obviously very hard to be twice in the bottom two, but I'm extremely grateful to have been able to come this far.

"And that you believed in me, and took me, Andrew - I'm only just out of university, and you took me all the way up here."

Meanwhile, judge Dawn French has revealed she wants to snog the winner of the show, who will play Jesus Christ in 'Jesus Christ Superstar', and doesn't care who it is because all of the contestants are so attractive.

She said: "I'm a woman of a certain age but I'm enjoying the boys. They are great eye candy.

"It's not even that they're buff and fit, they're just talented. And that for me is even more attractive."

Dawn also admitted she has to stop herself flirting with the hunky contestants.

She said: "I snog a lot of people and I'm an outrageous flirter. But that's not what I'm there for so I couldn't really tell you what I'm thinking."
