Shaun Williamson returning to Life's Too Short
Shaun Williamson has confirmed he will be returning to the next series of Ricky Gervais' 'Life's Too Short'
Shaun Williamson is set to star in the new series of 'Life's Too Short'.
The 'EastEnders' star - who featured in four episodes of Ricky Gervais and Steven Merchant's sitcom last year - says he is grateful that the comics "took him under their wings".
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I'm very lucky that those two took me under their wing. There's another 'Life's Too Short' coming up in February and it's going to be an hour long special.
"Myself, Keith Chegwin and Les Dennis are starring in it again, so that's going to be great."
Shaun - who is best known for playing hopeless Barry in the east-end soap - appears as himself in the comedy centered around Warwick Davis' perspective on life as a dwarf.
He added: "Ricky and Steven are such great writers. Sometimes we've had to stop the scene because they've come out with little bits that have made us laugh too much."
"They give us the freedom to have our own input and that's down to their generosity."
Other guest appearances from the last series included Hollywood stars Helen Bonham Carter, Liam Neeson, Johnny Depp and Sophie Ellis Bextor.
Shaun also revealed that 'Life's too Short' wasn't the only project he was keen to work with comedy legend Ricky Gervais on.
He said: "It'd be amazing to go on 'An Idiot Abroad'. I'd absolutely be up for it. He's the puppet master but you get visit all the amazing places you'd never otherwise see."
