An 'X Factor' contestant hit a producer during a foul-mouthed outburst after her audition was rejected.
Zoe Alexander - a Pink impersonator - was furious after judges Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh, Tulisa Contostavlos and Nicole Scherzinger told her she wouldn't be going through to the next round, so lashed out at everyone around her.
As well as striking the female producer on the nose, Zoe, 22, called all the judges ***** and threw her microphone in their direction, during the pre-recorded auditions in Cardiff, Wales.
A show source said: "It all kicked off once Zoe got the no votes from the judges. She exploded into a rage and threw the mic down then started swearing.
"I have never seen a reaction like it ever before on the show. Her abusive language was bad enough but then she started striking out at cameras and even a female producer.
"The producer spent the rest of the afternoon with an ice pack on her nose."
Zoe was told by judges her first audition for the ITV1 talent show was "average" but she was invited back to the stage with her dad, Glen Smith.
However, when she was rejected again she hit out and had to be escorted off the stage.
Zoe - who claims she was told to sing a Pink song by the judges - told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I lost it and said they were a bunch of *****. I want to apologise to the judges and the audience - but they set me up to humiliate me. I didn't mean to swear or push anybody but I feel they've ruined my career."
An 'X Factor' spokesperson rejected Zoe's claims.
