Zoe Lucker has joined the cast of 'Waterloo Road'.
The former 'Footballers Wives' actress will play Carol Barry, the wife of a prisoner, who along with her children Barry, Dynasty and Kacey "ruffle plenty of feathers" in the BBC school drama.
Zoe - who has already begun filming in Scotland - said: "Carol and her kids are going to ruffle plenty of feathers in Waterloo Road - you can't trust them as far as you can throw them!
"They're a family of great characters - but you just wouldn't want the Barrys in your neighbourhood!"
The family's introduction storyline sees the Barry children arrive to attend headmaster Michael Byrne's pupil referral unit - but the kids are not very focused on their work.
An insider said: "They could be the school's greatest success story. But they have anything but top grades on their sordid minds."
The show's executive producer Cameron Roach - who previously worked with Zoe on 'Footballer's Wives' - promised the character is very different to her WAG alter ego Tanya Turner.
He said: "This time her character's not about the glamour but keeping the family together."
Barry, Dynasty and Kacey will be played by Carl Au, Abby Mavers and Brogan Ellis.
