Jodie Marsh and Matt Lapinskas are being lined up to compete in 'Dancing on Ice'.
Model turned bodybuilder Jodie and the 'EastEnders' actor have both been targeted by producers who are keen to bring drama to the ITV series.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "The show was slammed as being boring last time around so bosses are keen to pick people who will make the headlines.
"In Jodie's case it doesn't have to be for the right reasons. She loves the limelight and they reckon she'd be great on the show."
Matt - who is filming his last scenes as 'EastEnders' Anthony Moon this week - is said to have been approached after saying he would like to appear in rival show 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The source added: "He's young, good-looking and has that cheeky personality that female viewers love."
The source added Steps singer Ian 'H' Watkins has also auditioned for the show and said the judging panel - which currently features Katarina Witt, Louis Spence and Robin Cousins - could also undergo a shake-up, with Jason Gardiner tipped to make a comeback.
The source said: "There is going to be a major shake-up of the judges and they want contestants who will appeal to all ages.
"The crazier and louder the better is what they're thinking."
'Dancing on Ice' will return to screens early in 2013.
