Broody Charlie Brooks
Charlie Brooks says being pregnant on 'EastEnders' made her broody as she kept stroking her prosthetic bump
Charlie Brooks says being pregnant on 'EastEnders' made her broody.
The actress - whose alter-ego Janine Moon is set to give birth to her daughter three months early - admits putting on her prosthetic bump for filming made her yearn for a sibling for seven-year-old daughter Kiki.
She said: "Wearing a fake baby bump was a pain at times, but it made me broody! I've found myself fondling the bump going, 'Ah, I really could do this all over again."
Charlie also admitted filming scenes following Janine's premature labour was very harrowing.
She told Inside Soap magazine: "It was extremely emotional. I spoke to woman who'd had premature twins and she told me about her experience. She was really helpful and I said I hope I'll be able to do the story justice. The baby we used to film with was just a special effects dummy. But it was still totally heartbreaking to put myself in Janine's shoes in this storyline."
