Elle Macpherson is tough BINTM judge
Elle Macpherson says she's tougher than ever on the new series of 'Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model' because new judge Whitney Port is very gentle.
Elle Macpherson says she's tougher than ever on the new series of 'Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model'.
The Australian supermodel says is able to be more authorative this year because she is joined on the panel by Whitney Port, who is softer with the 20 wannabe models.
Elle - who is also joined by Julien Macdonald and Tyson Beckford - said: "Because I have Whitney, who has fantastic opinions and is quite gentle with the girls, my position is a little more directional this season."
Elle also believes she has the best set of contestants to date and loved working with them all.
She said: "Versatility, stamina, sense of humour, courage, willingness to try new things, being flexible, reinventing themselves - there are a lot of challenges for them."
Whitney also said she was impressed with the girls as she thought they were much nicer than the ones in the American version.
She said: "These girls are a lot more polite. They have less attitude. They really want to improve and they respect everyone's opinions."
The 20 new girls will go head to head in a series of challenges in order to be named Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model.
