Jessie J signs up for new series of The Voice
Jessie J has been signed up for a second series of 'The Voice' by BBC bosses who believe she is the key to the show's success
Jessie J has signed up for a second series of 'The Voice'.
The 'Pricetag' singer - who has been accused of acting like a diva behind the scenes of the BBC One show - has reportedly chosen to return as a coach for the new series of the programme, although her tour is planned for the same time as auditions.
A source told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: "Jessie has signed on the dotted line and will definitely be back for another series.
"She did find some of it tougher than she expected but the positives outweighed the negatives so she's chosen to come back.
"Now she knows what to expect, Jessie is determined to enjoy it more next year, so she's already excited about getting started."
Show bosses believe Jessie is the star of the coaching panel and most responsible for the average 9.2 million viewers.
The source added: "She is the coach everyone was talking about and she's the one who divided opinion and gave the show some attitude.
"It's no surprise they've snapped her up within hours of announcing the news about the ratings.
"Getting Jessie J back on board is their first step to keeping the show on air after next year."
Meanwhile, the BBC have denied claims that Jessie was offered a £500,000 deal from producers to return.
