Kerry Katona and David Gest to star in My Fair Kerry
Kerry Katona and David Gest are to star together in new reality TV show 'My Fair Kerry', which will see the producer try and turn the loud blonde into a refined lady.
Kerry Katona and David Gest have started filming their new comic reality TV show which is called 'My Fair Kerry'.
The programme will see the producer try and turn the 31-year-old star into a lady of the world in a series of challenges which will be filmed in Liverpool, across the UK, Los Angeles, Atlanta - where Gest just bought a £3 million property - Las Vegas, where the celebrity owns another home, and Memphis, BANG Showbiz has confirmed.
Kerry is set to fly out to Los Angeles in the coming weeks for her first test which will see her preened and groomed by several star makers from Beverly Hills.
While in the American city the busty blonde will be able to call on the services of her own personal hygienist and waxing assistant who Gest has hired to take care of all potentially hairy situations!
Gest has already given as a gift to Kerry the £40,000 black cigarette holder that was used by screen icon Audrey Hepburn in 'Breakfast At Tiffany's' to make her feel like a glamorous lady in the programme.
A source close to the show revealed: "Gest can't wait to start putting Kerry through her paces to see if she can transform herself from the down-to-earth character the nation loves into a refined lady. Gest presented her with Audrey Hepburn's cigarette holder which she was thrilled with and he is confident he can transform her into woman of poise and grace like Marilyn Monroe, Bette Davis and Audrey Hepburn."
It is also rumoured Gest has asked his friend, legendary actress Angie Dickinson - who starred with Frank Sinatra in the original 'Ocean's Eleven' and John Wayne in 1959 film 'Rio Bravo' and Sir Michael Caine in 'Dressed To Kill' - to teach Kerry the importance of etiquette.
In another challenge Kerry will meet Michael Jackson's mother Katherine Jackson at the Jackson family home to be taught how to cook by over 10 international chefs.
The former 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' winner - who was crowned queen of the jungle in 2004 - will also be flown to Atlanta, Georgia to get dance lessons from the newly reformed The Jacksons before they perform at the Chastain Park Amphitheatre as part of their sensational 15-city 'Unity Tour'.
Gest - who was recently voted by the UK public as one of the all-time top five 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' contestants - has been friends with Kerry for several years and the pair's hysterical antics and close relationship will make for an unbelievable television programme.
The source added: "Gest is hoping he will be able to understand what Kerry says and by the end of the first series have her speaking real English!"
Gest is no newcomer to producing his own projects as his recent film 'Michael Jackson: The Life Of An Icon' sparked a bidding war between four companies and was rumoured to be sold for millions upon millions of pounds to Universal Pictures and was released to critical acclaim.
Three episodes of 'My Fair Kerry' are already currently being filmed and are being made by Gest's own production company and several broadcasters already are interested in screening the series.
Gest's publicist Mark Collins would only confirm the initial episodes are being filmed and that there will be numerous appearances from special stars, including several football legends who are friends with the 59-year-old star.
