Cheryl Cole wants to appear in 'Coronation Street'.

The 'Call My Name' hitmaker - who recently made her movie debut with a cameo role in 'What To Expect When You're Expecting' - is currently focusing on her pop career but likes the idea of making a guest appearance in her favourite soap.

She told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "I'd never say never about doing more TV but right now I'm focused on my music. If I could do a cameo it'd have to be in 'Coronation Street'. I'd like to do more acting as I really enjoyed it."

While Cheryl would like to be in 'Coronation Street', she has previously spoken about her love of 'EastEnders'.

The brunette beauty was glued to her TV set when Walford matriarch Pat Evans - played by Pam St. Clement - passed away at the beginning of the year.

She tweeted at the time: "Please tell me I'm not the only person to have shed a tear at #Eastenders?? Is there something wrong with me..? *bbm crying face*.

And the Girls Aloud beauty has previously admitted she has a special outfit to wear while chilling out in front of the TV.

She said: "I have this pair of grey lounge trousers with a satin waistband which are really unattractive, but so comfy.

"I sit on the sofa in fluffy slippers and a hoody with a nice cup of hot chocolate."
